Stress Engineers
(BA, MSc or equiv. degree/experience)
Location: Hamburg, Schwaebisch Hall, Munich
Your tasks
› Development of lightweight structures
› Stress and strength calculation using NASTRAN / PATRAN / FEMAP or similar tools
(e.g. ANSYS, COSMOS, HYPERWORKS, LSDYNA, etc.)
› Calculation of interface loads
› Analysis of results and design optimization (topology)
› Interface with Design and Production Teams
› Creation of reports and other technical documentation to support product certification activities
Your qualification
› Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Aerospace / Automotive / Rail or similar
› Proven command of above tools as well as hand calculation methods (e.g. HSB)
› Experience with static analysis of metallic and composite structures
› Experience in the area of Fatigue / Damage Tolerance (FDT) and/or Dynamic analysis is a plus
› Design experience with tools such as CATIA, PRO/E or SOLIDWORKS is a plus
