Project Engineers / Designers – Design & Development

Your tasks
› Development of concepts studies for complex parts, structures, assemblies – Aerospace, Rail,
Automotive, Windpower › 3D and 2D design using CATIA V5 or similar tools (e.g. SolidEdge,
SolidWorks, ProE, FiberSim etc.)
› Engineering liaison and resolution of design problems during product prototyping, manufacturing
and assembly phase
› Creation of specifications, project reports and other technical documentation
› Support of Design Reviews
Your qualification
› Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Aerospace / Automotive or equiv. experience
› Applications from technicians / technical draughtsman are also welcome
› Proven command and experience with above tools (e.g. sheet metal, parts, assembly, solids and
surface design, drafting and integration, etc.)
› Preliminary sizing of parts and mass properties
› Experience in metallic and composite structures design
› Knowledge of tolerancing and dimensioning (GT&D)
› Knowledge of configuration management systems
› Experience in kinematic design is a plus
› Experience in pneumatic, fluid and electrical systems installations is a plus
› Experience in pre-preg, hand lay up composites design is a plus
› Experience with manufacturing techniques (e.g. welding techniques, etc.) is a plus
› Excellent presentation and communication skills, preferably in both English and German
The successful candidate will play a key role within a multidisciplinary team and will have direct interaction with the Customer, on a regular basis. Based on skills and interest, ongoing project activities offer advancement into a team and project lead position, at national and international level.
